Nixk is a rising star from Covina, CA who currently lives in Dallas, Texas. The independent artist started his music journey in May 2024 and since then, has been all gas no breaks! “I realized the rest of my life is going to go one of two ways. Either I am going to think about my music career the rest of my life and regret not chasing it or I am going to focus on building my music career and be damn proud I did.” Nixk’s is very hands on with his music career. He taught himself how to write, produce, shoot his visuals and is now training himself to mix and master. Nixk has always been a creative person and naturally gifted with words. He implements it in his music by speaking poetically and motivationally. Nixk’s music shed light on his journey from the good, bad and everything in between.
When asked where does his musical inspiration come from? Nixk responded “I have always been a creative person and have been naturally gifted with words, speaking poetically and motivationally. Ever since I was a kid I was always writing some kind of rap or song. But Hip Hop spoke so deeply to me when I was a kid because I come from a single mother home and the struggle to be honest. So Hip Hop showed me an ambitious side of life where people can change their situation, that really stuck with me. I loved to listen to all the stories that outlined rags to riches.”
What Nixk’s is most proud of is his day one fans. To stay connected with his listeners, he does weekly livestreams where they can get a front row seat to his music and behind the process of I’m creating his music.
