JMC is an independent artist who uses his passion for music as an outlet to express his talent. If people like positivity and good vibes definitely listen to my music, I’m open to anyone checking out my art. I just want to have a connection and my song be able to relate and encourage you in the long run.
What inspired/the meaning behind your artist name?
It is the first and last initials of my name, (Joseph & McCord), I was going to go with JMC^2 since I have two C’s but finalized with JMC.

What are some of your favorite highlights/memories/accomplishments that you have from being in the industry?
Dropping my very first music video “Call I Make Believe” just all the positive feedback and supporters I received.

Treat people how you want to be treated.
What community events have you contributed to and why is giving back to the community important to you?
Every year during the holiday season, me and my family always give blankets to the elderly in nursing homes and the homeless in shelter homes. I believe it is important to give back, because you never know who will be in need next, could be me, my family, the bottom line is giving is part of living.
When you are not in the studio and/or working, what are some things that you enjoy doing?
I enjoy star gazing, vibing to music, and video gaming.
How many singles, EPs, or albums have you released? Which one is your favorite? Why?
I have four singles, one EP with six tracks out right now. My favorite song so far is “Favorite Rapper”, because it was the quickest song I made and I enjoyed the process and fun I had making it.
What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Be consistent, never give up, and be patient. There will come a time where you might get writers blocked or lose motivation, but everything will workout in time.

I love and appreciate everyone one of you, I am so grateful to have fans.
